Android N Multitasking Shows That We May be Closer to an Android Desktop

After looking at the many features of Android Nougat 7.0, one particular feature caught my eye: The Multitasking ability. This was predicted last year according to this previous article. I believe with this feature, mobile phones and tablets are ready to replace all other gadgets and this is a big threat to desktop computers.
It’s not a new feature as many manufacturers’ ROM have come with this feature, especially Samsung. Unlike Windows devices, Android lacks this feature in all the previous stock releases and I particularly have been waiting for this feature a long while.
However, this is the first time a stock Android release ships with this feature. Apparently Google is taking clues from Samsung and Windows, and guess who’s excited? ME!

How It Works

The feature works well both on portrait and landscape mode. In landscape mode you’re only allowed a 50-50 split, but in portrait mode app developers can choose the appropriate widths for their applications.

It is cool but I’d have loved more freedom on app widths like I enjoy on my Microsoft Surface Tablet. You can enable the feature by long-pressing the app button while in an app proper and this will effectively put the foreground app on top while another app stays below it.
Alternatively, you can choose another app from the app picker or tap the home button to select another app. The quick app switching (another new function) means that three separate apps can easily be toggled right on one screen without having to leave one for the other and that’s really cool.
This means you can watch your YouTube video or movies without any interruption.

Implication

For big screen lovers and users, this is a big development. You can even drag files from one app to another while operating them simultaneously. The split-screen function will be enjoyed on tablets and phablets.

Furthermore, multitasking will get easier. Google will eventually merge Chrome OS with And Android OS to create something spectacular. It’s happening already. In one sentence what windows can do, Android can now do.
This means the line between Desktop computing and Mobile Operating Systems is getting blurrier. Multitasking is the new sexy! While we wait for this Android version to get pushed to devices by OEMs and carriers, what do you think of this new feature? Are you excited?

How to Reset Forgotten Password on Windows 10/8/7

Today, we are going to learn to resolve one of the most annoying and frustrating problems that exists and that is how to reset a forgotten Windows 10/8/7 password. Microsoft did a great job when it comes to securing your computer as you have several options. You can secure your computer with an alphanumeric password, a picture password or a PIN password but unfortunately, it made no loopholes to reset the password if you forget it.
If you are a very cautious person, you should be changing the password of your Windows computer regularly and not only that, you should be choosing strong and secure passwords so that no one will be able to hack it. But here is the dangerous part: you could forget the password yourself someday and put yourself in a situation where you will have no other option but to format the computer.
Now, re-installing Windows operating system is a valid way to remove the password from your computer but it does have a huge demerit – it will totally wipe out your hard disk and your computer will be totally empty like a newly bought system which means all your pictures, videos, music collection, software, documents and other precious data are gone just like that.
So, to overcome this disadvantage, we are going to introduce you to an amazing little program that can reset Windows 10/8/7 password without even deleting a single item from your computer at all. That’s right; iSeePassword Windows Password Recovery tool is that program that can totally remove the password from any Windows computer and laptop without even touching any other data on your computer.
The basic principle of this program is to remove the registry entries that are in control of password-protecting your computer. Now, this cannot be done manually since you won’t have access to your computer. The best thing about this software is that it works offline – meaning you won’t need any Internet connection to reset your computer password.
Why should I use Windows Password Recovery Pro?
  1. It can reset/remove/bypass all Windows passwords which includes Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows server and all other older versions.
  2. It works with both local and administrator accounts.
  3. It can change the priorities of your user profile accounts like changing root domain account to standard account.
  4. You can add and remove user profiles from your computer directly using this tool.
  5. 100% safe and secure way to reset your computer password without losing any data.
  6. Works with every brand of computer and laptop such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony, etc.
  7. Eligible with all types of hard disks like SATA, IDE, external hard disks and so on.
  8. 100% password recovery guaranteed or you can have your money back.
  9. Any issues? You can contact the support to get immediate help.
Tutorial on how to reset Windows 10/8/7 password with iSeePassword –
This program is developed very sophisticatedly so that every level of users can use it. Still, we will take everything on the account and will explain how to use this program to bypass Windows login screen password.
Step 1. You will definitely need a different set of laptop or computer to download this program since your computer is currently locked out. Just grab or lend any computer from your siblings or friends for only few minutes and install this program on their computer.
Step 2. Launch iSeePassword tool on the distinct computer and insert an ordinary USB stick to the computer.
Tip: You can even use a CD/DVD. This program supports making bootable disk in both ways.
Step 3. Now, burn the required ISO image file to your USB stick by clicking on “Burn USB” from the main interface of this program. Similarly, if you are using CD/DVD then click on “Burn CD/DVD”
Tip: This part will burn the files from the program to your device to make a password reset bootable disk. So unless, the operation is 100% completed, make sure not to remove it from the system.
Step 4. Now, use this bootable disk on your locked computer and reboot it. The computer should automatically launch the program on the startup window but if it doesn’t then simply change the boot priority to the password reset disk and it should work fine.
Step 5. On the main program interface, select the OS version that you are using like Windows 7 then select the username from the middle column and click on “Reset Password”.
Finished! Now, restart the computer and enjoy because it will not ask you to enter the password again.
Conclusion:
iSeePassword actually nullify the password to nothing and that’s why the login screen is completely removed from the system. But, it is recommended that you setup a new password again for your computer so that no one can access it except yourself. Next time, try to create password reset disk as a backup plan or if you face this issue then you can use iSeePassword to bypass your computer password again.

New Android Malware Found in Over a Thousand Apps on Google Play Store.

Lookout researchers have identified over a thousand spyware apps related to a threat actor likely based in Iraq. Belonging to the family "SonicSpy," these samples have been aggressively deployed since February 2017, with several making their way onto the Google Play Store. Google removed at least one of the apps after Lookout alerted the company.
We discovered this threat after the Lookout Security Cloud analysis stack identified the spyware capabilities, flagging the app to our research team for manual review.
All Lookout customers are protected from this threat.
What it does
The sample of SonicSpy most recently found on the Play Store, called Soniac, is marketed as a messaging app. While Soniac does provide this functionality through a customized version of the communications app Telegram, it also contains malicious capabilities that provide an attacker with significant control over a target device.
This includes the ability to silently record audio, take photos with the camera, make outbound calls, send text messages to attacker specified numbers, and retrieve information such as call logs, contacts, and information about Wi-Fi access points.
The overall SonicSpy family supports 73 different remote instructions, including those seen in the Soniac instance.
Upon first execution SonicSpy will remove its launcher icon to hide itself from the victim, establish a connection to C2 infrastructure (arshad93.ddns[.]net:2222), and attempt to install its own custom version of Telegram that is stored in the res/raw directory and titled su.apk.
Determining the functionality
Testing SonicSpy's malicious functionality was a relatively straight forward process due to how client server communication has been implemented and can be quickly confirmed via DNS poisoning and running netcat.
SonicSpy code snippet
Running netcat on port 2222 where the DNS record for arshad93.ddns[.]net has been locally poisoned allows us to interact directly with an infected device. Via the A0 command it is possible to retrieve basic device information, followed by call logs (A1), wifi access points (A7), clipboard data (A20), record surrounding audio (A29), before stopping audio recording and retrieving the audio as base64 encoded data (A30).
Potential attribution
Analysed samples were found to contain many similarities to SpyNote, another malware family that was first reported on in mid 2016. There are many indicators that suggest the same actor is behind the development of both. For example, both families share code similarities, regularly make use of dynamic DNS services, and run on the non-standard 2222 port. In the case of SpyNote, the attacker used a custom-built desktop application to inject malicious code into specific apps so that a victim could still interact with the legitimate functionality of the trojanized apps. Due to the steady stream of SonicSpy apps it seems likely that the actors behind it are using a similar automated-build process, however their desktop tooling has not been recovered at this point in time.
The account behind Soniac, iraqwebservice, has also previously posted two other SonicSpy samples to the Play Store, although both samples are no longer live. It's unclear whether they were removed as a direct result of Google taking action or if the actor behind SonicSpy removed them in order to evade detection for as long as possible. Cached Play Store pages of these apps, Hulk Messengerand Troy Chat, confirm they were once live and our analysis found they contained the same functionality as other SonicSpy samples.
Cached images of SonicSpy apps removed from Google Play
Cached web content of hulk messenger and troy chat that were also live on the Play Store.
Anyone accessing sensitive information on their mobile device should be concerned about SonicSpy. The actors behind this family have shown that they're capable of getting their spyware into the official app store and as it's actively being developed, and its build process is automated, it's likely that SonicSpy will surface again in the future.

How To Add Asynchronous Code To Blogger Without Error

Using asynchronous scripts on a webpage is the best option since asynchronous code loads more faster when compared to synchronous scripts. But it seems blogger doesn't support use of asynchronous scripts in templates, why? No one knows. Better still, there is a way you can manipulate your code to work with blogger templates.

You might have edited your blogs template several times and gotten error messages just as the one in the image below, it may be Adsense verification code, ad code or any other code that contains 'async'. Getting the problem solved is easy, just follow the instructions below.

Study the code well and look for async Add ="async" at the front of async without spaces. Example:
<script ="" async="async".... ></script>
Save your code. That's it. The error message will disappear immediately.

Solar Eclipse

What is Solar Eclipse?

A solar eclipse (as seen from the planet Earth) is a type of eclipse that occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and when the Moon fully or partially blocks ("occults") the Sun. Wikipedia

Types of Solar Eclipse

There are four different types of solar eclipse, below is the list and full details of each.

  1. Total Eclipse

A total eclipse occurs when the Moon completely covers the sun leaving just the Corona(a Corona is an aura of plasma that surrounds the sun and other stars) of the sun which is visible to naked eye.
  2. Annular Eclipse

An annular eclipse occurs when the Sun and the Moon are in exact line with earth. Since the Sun is apparently bigger than the Moon, the Sun appears as a bright ring surrounding the dark Moon.
  3. Hybrid Eclipse

A hybrid eclipse shifts between Total and Annular eclipse. It appears as Total Eclipse at a point on earth and as an Annular Eclipse at another point.
  4. Partial Eclipse

A partial eclipse occurs when the Sun and the Moon are not exactly in the same line with the Earth and the Moon partially covers the Sun. It can be seen from large parts of the Earth during total or annular eclipse but some eclipse appear to be partial eclipse.
