Types of Solar Eclipse
There are four different types of solar eclipse, below is the list and full details of each.
Total Eclipse
A total eclipse occurs when the Moon completely covers the sun leaving just the Corona(a Corona is an aura of plasma that surrounds the sun and other stars) of the sun which is visible to naked eye.Annular Eclipse
An annular eclipse occurs when the Sun and the Moon are in exact line with earth. Since the Sun is apparently bigger than the Moon, the Sun appears as a bright ring surrounding the dark Moon.Hybrid Eclipse
A hybrid eclipse shifts between Total and Annular eclipse. It appears as Total Eclipse at a point on earth and as an Annular Eclipse at another point.Partial Eclipse
A partial eclipse occurs when the Sun and the Moon are not exactly in the same line with the Earth and the Moon partially covers the Sun. It can be seen from large parts of the Earth during total or annular eclipse but some eclipse appear to be partial eclipse.
